We are proud to introduce the Purton Kingsdown FC Girls U18 Team – a passionate and determined group of young players who embody the spirit, skill, and sportsmanship that our club stands for. Representing the next generation of talent, our U18 squad brings together a fantastic blend of experience, teamwork, and enthusiasm both on and off the pitch. Under the guidance of our dedicated coaching staff, the girls continue to develop their abilities, grow in confidence, and demonstrate a true love for the game. We look forward to an exciting season ahead and invite everyone to come and support the team as they take on new challenges and strive for success!

Coach - Simon Bradbury

Simon Bradbury is the manager of both our Ladies first team and the U18 Girls.

Simon is a UEFA C / FA Level 2 coach having qualified in 2021.

Simon was Head of Female development at Kingsdown before Kingsdown’s adult section merged with Purton in May 2025. The first team was created two seasons ago and last season finished fourth in the Wiltshire Senior League Premier Division. His U18 Girls play in the Oxfordshire Girls League, providing further development in one of the most competitive leagues in the country. They won their division in 2023-24 and were promoted to Division one for the 2024-25 season.

With an emphasis on player development, Simon uses the FA four-corner model to develop player profiles and IDP’s for the young adults in his squads.

Football coaching exists in the family, with his brother Russell, a UEFA Pro Licence holder in Austria, with Sturm Graz and works for the Austrian FA. Russell does pop over to run sessions when he is back in the country.

Simon is a committee member and works closely with all the female teams and coaches in the female adult section.
